Swatch of OPI Alcatraz Rocks

I still remember my first encounter with OPI’s liquid sand formula with horror. I was going to a party, chose the black and red liquid sand polish Stay The Night. When I then applied my makeup I realised that the combination of textured polish with a liquid foundation was a dissaster. Truly a dissaster. A beige, sticky fudge in my polish. Impossible to get rid of. True polish horror.

However, I did try some more textured polishes after that. And I really like them (as long as I avoid getting foundation in the polish). I especially like the ones from OPI and Zoya.

So this is the awesome liquid sand polish Alcatraz Rocks from OPI. Gorgeous, isn’t it?

How about you, do  you like textured polishes?

  1. There was a time I was crazy about sands. After a slight overdose😉 I like them still but use more rarely. I have the nail polish you showed. It’s different than others, it looks as if it was wet. Interesting one.
